Oops, it's been a little while. I'm officially a major? 18! But I don't really feel much different than
before.. I guess it hasn't set in yet? I'm going to sign the lease for my apartment soon, sign up for the Selective Service (I hope there's
no draft anytime soon), and I just graduated high school! I think I'm going to try and take Korean classes at college in addition to
Japanese, if it's possible. It'd be fun to be able to read webcomics in their original language and to understand kpop. But I guess
it all depends on how much room in my schedule I have. I also have to keep a good balance of fun classes and classes for my major, especially
since I want to transfer. I guess I have some time to figure that out (at least 3 semesters).

Only 7 days until my high school graduation. I bought one of those headband things you put in the cap so that I don't have to scrunch up my hair to fit in it. I didn't have one for middle school so that photo didn't turn out so well. Kanji writing is kind of killing me... But I have to take some placement test for Japanese courses at UF and kanji is part of it, so I need to be at my best if I want to get into the advanced courses. I can't suffer through intermediate for a whole year.

a new month means a clean slate for my blog!!
i've been working on my stamp-making skills, and some shrinky dinks too.
I tried to make some shrinky dink charms of sanrio characters but it's hard to make the loops to attach to the key chains, so now they're
just pieces of plastic until I get more metal loops to glue to them.
